SBC: Read a Book that Takes Place in a Country You'd Like to Visit: King John
For this task I read King John by William Shakespeare. I'm slowly working my way through the complete works of Shakespeare, so this was a good excuse to read one of his plays.
I've never been to England and have always wanted to go, especially since my ancestral background is primarily English. On a first vacation there, I would probably stick to the London area, and do the touristy things - Buckingham palace, the Tower of London, the bridge, Big Ben, etc. I'd also like to visit some of the places mentioned in various Jane Austen books since I'm a huge fan (Bath, the Lake District etc).
