Just wondering if anyone had seen BEB lately?  The last thing I remember was that she was going on vacation I think?  Just wanted to see how she was doing.

I believe multiple people were taking jabs at her for always wanting in on the freebies offered up on the boards. It was pretty mean. Wish I could post a link to the thread. Don't blame her for suddenly dropping you guys.

It was a rude comment made by a rude person and a lot of rude people "loved it." Not saying it wasn't true, but it was a classless move by a bunch of catty, classless people. Not saying I was a BEB fan, as I'm sure she was a part of the anti-MH club, but she was a regular here for a long time and even I felt bad for her after that rude little comment. Again, not surprised she dropped you guys. You shouldn't be surprised either.

While I don't agree with all of these remarks, I do agree that it was a rude comment that was made and was uncalled for.  BEB has been a supportive and respectful person in this community and I would wish that others would show the same respect back to her or anyone else that is involved on here.

I feel that she has every right for not wanting to come back on here because of the way she's been treated (this wasn't the first time).  Not just on this post alone, but on other posts and the NSA gift exchange.  No person on this "supportive" community deserves disrespect when they are involved and give respect and support on a regular basis.

There once was a time on this board where people debated, disagreed, and grew without playing the victim or running away. Those days are gone, and I honestly wonder how some people here function in the workplace with how easily offense is taken to disagreement or criticism.

I honestly wonder how some people here function with a high school attitude. There was no debate, no disagreement, nothing like that... It was just making fun of someone because you're all a bunch of rude, trashy people. I get being rude to new people who come on here and "drive by." I get being rude to me, a lurker who only posts when I'm especially irritated with what's being posted. I don't get being rude unnecessarily to a regular just to be mean. I hope it made you all feel better about yourselves. I (and everyone else) would expect nothing less of you, Looney and the others.

Gahhh I love you, Brij, as you know, but we have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm a big believer in calling people out for things and I've called many people out on a lot of things on this board, not just BEB.

I personally don't think anyone was really rude to BEB. If you're not going to pay attention to things already posted, someone will mention it. And if most of your input comes in the form of waiting for freebies, someone will mention it. No one ever defamed her or called her names. Facts are facts.

Do I think what was said was insulting? Yes. Was it the worst insult ever? No. But seriously... It was rude and unnecessary and if you think you can make jokes at other peoples expense like that and have them stick around, you're crazy. I don't even know if that's why she took a break from you people, but I wouldn't blame her.

BEB and l have had words, things have been said that I regret. I've apologized and we have moved on. I don't think that BEB is a bad person, but I also think she has had a tough time on here and understand why she would take a break and/ or leave the board.

Do I think Looney or Amanda are terrible people? Nope not at all. In fact, do I think MH is a terrible person? Nope. There are always going to be personality clashes. I've had it out with several people on this board because we aren't all going to get along. It's just how it is. Calling people out for not getting along is kind of pointless and won't ever go anywhere.

I really don't have a horse in this race, because I wasnt in the original thread and I have never opened threads for free stuff.

But, everybody gets flamed on the Internet and in real life. And she could have taken her flame and turned it into a joke or just rolled with it, but she couldn't, so she stepped away. I've had to step away from groups IRL and on the Internet before, because I couldn't handle it. And it wasnt because other people were being unnecessarily mean, but I was no longer able to handle it in a healthy way.

I don't know. Some people do dumb shit. Some people do things that are annoying. Some people do things that are annoying and they don't even realize they are annoying until somebody points it out. And a lot of times it is pointed out and made into a joke.

The day we completely stop calling people out on their annoying shit is the day I leave this place completely.

I just want to throw out here that BEB posted the day after this all went down, saying she left for vacation. Though I don't know for sure, I doubt this is the reason she stepped away. If it is though, I hope she comes back.

Guess this is what I have to say about it.

This board is an amazing place where people can come and ask questions, have fun, meet people going through similar circumstances, and get some feedback and support.   Of course there are going to be disagreements.  We're all from different walks of life and different areas and upbringings.   I'm very thankful for the support and friends I have made from here.  Whether it is just through PM's, FB, or IRL. 

There's a wonder why the board is dead.  Well that post is why.  Others watch the way regulars are treated on here and they don't want to post or be involved.  She asked a simple question.  Do I disagree that she could've done a little searching and seen an entire list of recommendations? No.  But the remark on her post and all of the little jabs were like watching a kid being made fun of by a bully and all of their friends standing behind them poking fun and laughing while that kid is apologizing for their simple mistake and being backed into a corner.  

There's absolutely nothing wrong with debating or arguing on here.  Heck, it would be boring as hell if there wasn't some sort of disagreement.  But that doesn't mean that we should be disrespectful and put others down.  Isn't 3T hurtful enough to begin with, without having the people you come to for "support" poke fun?

I don't think the board is dead because people are bullies. I think the board is dead because the nest fucked up big time when they updated without being prepared to do so. This board used to be so much more than it is. Now it is just simply superficial.

I don't wonder why the board is dead. I know why. There is no more community here. I wish there was but there isn't. Honestly, I don't think anyone here is treated that badly. I think some people can't handle what people say to them. When people constantly ask the same question or say the same things over and over again it gets old and people get annoyed. It's part of life. People then stop responding in helpful ways. Have you ever had that friend who constantly bitches about her bf, asks for advice then ignores you only to come back a few weeks later with the same problem? You get annoyed and snarky with her, don't you? Same thing goes here.
