@booneybear @susiebwThank you so much for this recommendation. I loved it! It took me a bit to get into, but after about 25%, I was hooked. It was that kind of slow build, but then, all the sudden, I was biting my nails watching the cat and mouse game. It was my third Ken Follett and I've thoroughly enjoyed them all. Though it was nice not to read another of his giant books for once!
I'll start a spoiler post if anyone wants to discuss!
ETA: For reference, this was recommended because of my interest in reading more about Occupied France/women in WWII after Code Name Verity. I also just requested Rose under Fire from the library. I'm looking forward to getting it!
