Goosebumps Movie (2014)

So I heard about this in passing a few days ago, and just now decided to Google it to see if it was true. It is. Jack Black is going to be starring in a movie based off the children's horror series Goosebumps by R.L. Stine. Here's an article that describes the plot:

I'm having really mixed feelings about this because I grew up with the Goosebumps series and collected them, and all that stuff. I do realize that if I were to reread my favorites now like Night Of The Living Dummy, it'd probably seem really over the top and corny. I'm just afraid that with the way it's described, it's going to turn out like some sort of laughably bad horror movie like Freddie Vs. Jason or something.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this here for you guys to enjoy.
