NEWS AS OF MAY 15 ** interview update

Thanks for all the good wishes on my interview yesterday!  I think it went well and I'll find out if I got the job in about 2 weeks.  

I was told there would be a computer test but it turned out to be "write a letter using Word" so it was stupidly simple.  I also had to give a Powerpoint presentation which went well.  

I've also applied for another job at the same place (the college I went to) and one at my township office, so hopefully I get something soon!

Oh, and this is what I wore!

I don't know why it's super tiny...

thanks to everyone who wished me well in my interview last month. I got the call today saying they were hiring someone else who had already done the job.  It's hard not be disappointed because I had a good feeling about getting it!  Although, I guess it's a blessing in disguise because the job required a lot of travel and over night trips (sometimes a full week away from home!) and we are TTC. 

I'm applied for a job at my township office and I've been told there will be an opening at the local library later this summer. I worked there lst year and the CEO told me I'd pretty much be gaurenteed that job if I applied.

Sorry to hear that you didn't get the job. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, and the job that you were meant for is out there. Keep your chin up ; )
