Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for Anniversary Trip?
My husband and I are celebrating our first anniversary this July and wanted to go away somewhere in the U.S. and are looking into these islands. Any advice on which one is better for us? We're 27 and 30 and are looking for relaxation with a little romance.
Thanks!
Re: Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard for Anniversary Trip?
Tough call, they are both pretty equal in regards to what they have to offer (beaches, cute little shops, resturants, etc). So it kind of comes down to price and room availability. One advantage Nantucket has over Martha's Vineyard is if the water is too rough for the ferry to go, the airport isn't far away & you can get a flight over fairly easy to the island. I wouldn't recommend trying to plan to take a car to either island as the cost of getting a car to either island is crazy expensive & you need to book that months in advance to get your spot & if you miss your time, your SOL.
