I use L'occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream. They have different scents but I don't mind the original. It only takes a little bit to moisturize and I feel like it lasts longer than regular lotion. I hate the tube it's in though. It takes me forever to screw the little cap back on after I use it.

This is what I use too.  I have extremely dry skin and this works wonders.  I also use Nivea for throughout the day moisturizer after dealing with a lot of paper. 

I'm allergic to this.  Yeah, this.  The non-irritating lotion.  It gives me angry red bumps all over and it stings.  Fun.

I have the same problem.
I figure since I have Celiac, it might have something to do with the oatmeal, but honestly I have no idea.  I have reactions like that to a lot of lotions. 

It may be something in the Eucerin.  I break out in hives with every Eucerin cream/lotion I have every tried.

Sadly, I'm glad I'm not alone on this.  My skin is so persnickety about everything (I'm allergic to the sun) that I constantly feel like a freak.

I've used Bag Balm in the past. It's sold in a green tin. I figure if it's good enough for chapped cow udders, it should be good enough for me!   I've also used any thick foot lotion on my hands when they're bad too. Down side is the peppermint/ eucalyptus smell.

To avoid the slimy/ greasy feeling from apply lotion to my hands I squirt a blob about the size of a half dollar on the BACK of my hand, use the BACK of my other hand to smear it in/ around and then use the palms of my hands to finish rubbing it in. I feel like that way the lotion gets to the area that really needs it and less on my palms.

If the lotion isn't as thick, I use an amount about the size of a quarter. I'd rather have to spread out quarter sized applications than deal with the greasy feel.
