Hello all! I'm contemplating a move to the St Pete area to be closer to family. I'm in Washington state now and would move across the country probably next summer. I own my house here, so I'd have to sell that and then probably rent for a little while in St. Pete before buying again. Here's the catch - I have 6 dogs and 3 cats. I was in rescue and worked in the pet industry for years, and owning my own home made it easy to welcome them into my house. I haven't had to rent in a few years now. My pets are very quiet and clean and I am very particular about my home. But I know most landlords would not even consider renting to someone with this many pets. Any suggestions on how to overcome this? Anyone know of certain property management companies that are extremely pet friendly? Or certain areas that are more likely to accept my furry family? This won't matter once I own my house again.... but until then its something I have to worry about!
