I've seen a lot of people write this way, but please don't take it personally.

I hate when people leave out the words "to be". Example: "The lawn needs mowed." Is this a regional thing?

I think it's regional. It's definitely wrong, but it's how a lot of people talk in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

The pgh manner of speaking, in terms of accent, word choice, and laziness, is really fascinating. You get used to it.

Considering bermuda shorts look like capris on me since I'm short, they're really all I wear in the summer.

    Year-round school should be mandatory!

Don't look at my OOTD posts this summer then. ;-)  I hate how shorts are way too freaking short now.  So bermudas it is.
this. I would much prefer to see women in bermuda shorts than see their asses hanging out

I hate that if you try to find shorts that are long enough in the women's section then the waist goes up to your boobs.  If you try to find them in the juniors section then they show your crotch on the top and bottom.  So bermudas are a compromise.

I see that UO and raise you, group facebook messages are annoying too!

But you can remove yourself from a group FB message. You can't do that with a group text.

I think if it's with a small group of people and it's relevant to an event that you're all attending, it works (they are frequently used between my parents, my sister, and I for planning purposes).

If you use it to mass talk to people (more than three), that's so confusing.

That's just weird. I've heard "the lawn needs mowing" but never with words left out. I'm guessing it's a regional thing.Or, if it is common everywhere, I guess all the people I know just aren't annoying ;)

Group texts are way more annoying than group FB messages. I end up getting single text responses from numbers of people I have no idea about. Bermuda shorts are hideous most of the time. I'm not for wearing Daisy Dukes, but I like a nice 3" inseam and no more! Maybe that's because I'm on the shorter side.
