SBC: book from an unfinished category - Then Came You (ns)
For the category to read a book from an unfinished category of a previous challenge, I chose to read Then Came You by Jennifer Weiner. It fits into the category from FBC 2012 of "read a book on your friends TBR list but not your own".
I've read a couple other books by Jennifer Weiner before, and picked this one up super cheap at the book store this past Saturday. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would!
It started off a little slow, and the alternating view points were slightly annoying at times, but in the end it all came together nicely. There were some things I skimmed, descriptive paragraphs I thought could have been left out, and I was a little disappointed that some of the characters weren't more fleshed out, but all the main ones were.
I really enjoyed the last third of the book, and finished it rather quickly after taking the entire week to get that far.
Overall I was glad I picked it up, gave it 3/5 stars.
