AW: NT scan! (update in comments)
We had our NT scan today!
Still 2 babies
growing right on track. This time baby B was the more photogenic one, so we ended up with a bunch of pics of B, and only 2 of A. B was dancing and bopping it's head A waved but quickly rolled over every time we tried to get a good shot!
They also drew my blood to send to Verifi. So we should have those results in a week or two.
Meanwhile, we have decided to go public! Our families and my work know, but H wants to start shouting from roof tops. I want to just tell people as we see them, but H wants to do the whole announcing on FB thing. We'll see.

My gut was off- in the beginning I was thinking 2 girls, but I stopped feeling so confident a little while ago.
I'm glad there is a little mystery left for our A/S since they warned me it may take a few hours!

The typical screenings are useless with twins. My OB said they just don't have enough data to properly interpret the results.
Because of that, and I'm am old fart, we did Verifi, which is another brand like MaterniT21, or Harmony.
It looks at the babies DNA, so there are no risk ratios- we know actual results. Except that with Twins, if anything came back abnormal, we wouldn't know which twin it was.
Same goes for the sex. There were Y chromosomes in the DNA, so they know at least one of them is a boy. They could both be boys, or the other could be a girl. We won't know until the a/s. Does that make sense?

Both H and his father have the same initials, and if we have a boy and a girl, I would like to continue that with the boy. If it's two boys, I feel like we would have to do it with both of them, or not at all. And I don't know if I'm willing to do both!
