Could I be pregnant? Or could something be wrong?

Hey ladies,

So my last period ended on April 23rd and on the 25th we had a little accident (the condom came off inside me) but only a little got out I believe. Starting on the 28th I would get period-like cramps, which are still going on even now (on May 10th) a few days ago I was very emotional, just like my period. As I'm not due until the 21st to have another period I just wanted to see if anyone else had these issues and what it turned out to be.

I'm guessing you are safe, but maybe go to the dr if the cramps are severe?

  • I agree with the pp that it is unlikely that you are pregnant, but if you want some reassurance I would just take a test. If the symptoms you are experiencing are pregnancy symptoms and implantation happened around the 28th (when your symptoms began) then I would think your hormone level would be sufficient to give you a pretty accurate yes or no.

I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love.

If she finished her period on the 23, there's no way in hell implantation could have happened 5 days later. This all sounds a lot more like a call to the doc is in order if you're not feeling right than anything pregnancy related.

  • Thanks everyone. I went to the doctor today and they did a transvaginal ultrasound to take a look at everything in there due to a family history of PCOS. It all looked good. A clean catch urine test showed blood and white blood cells in my urine and a swap confirmed they were coming from the vagina. I tested negative for infections and bacteria so they are going to do a urine culture, but other than that there's no real answer as to what is going on. I'm a little concerned about the blood, but can live with the cramping (mostly lol) as long as things are fine for when we do start to have a family.

    Thanks ladies!
  • Glad to hear everything seems to have checked out ok... Hopefully you're symptoms go away soon'
