Weirdest names you've ever personally encountered?  No friend of a friend deals!

Mine - Cloid (pronounced like Lloyd with a hard C in front).  He lived on my floor freshman year of college.  Apparently it was an old family name.

Sameer - Pronounce exactly how it is spelt. He was one of my good friends all through college.

Leeasiah- lee-asia is a kid I used to see for therapy a long time ago.
Kdiatiyani- I still don't even know how to pronounce that.

In my previous job, at a national payroll company, I would call my clients weekly to get the hours worked for each employee. We obviously saw a lot of interesting names.

I eventually stopped giggling when I got to 'Harry Pitts' but totally flubbed 'Seamon' as you can imagine.

I thought the girls mom was calling her that sarcastically (the girl was being a bit whiny) until she handed me the library card application and I saw that was really her name.

Quite the lofty name to live up to!

I knew a D*ck Resler (pronounced wrestler)

I mentioned in the other post I have a cousin who named their kid Linkin (pronounced Lincoln).

And a FB friend who named their kid Jaxson (pronounced Jackson).

We have tons of funny names as work. One that springs to mind is Lucas Skywalker. For realz.

I don't think Sameer sounds like a weird name. I'm pretty sure I've met someone by that name. Maybe it was Samir.

I can think of one really off the wall name, but it was a former patient so I can't really disclose

I've met several Samirs as well. I wouldn't find that odd either.

I'm a teacher so I've seen tons of very different names in my career.

Males:
Phoenix
Talyn (pronounced talon like a bird)
Clayven
Stowne (pronounced stone)

Females:
O'sheyn (pronounced ocean)

I think O'sheyn takes the cake for me personally.

I've met several Samirs as well. I wouldn't find that odd either.

That's the only one I could think of. I had never heard of it before then or since then.

Big Boy was the actual name of one of DH's roommates in college. He was the most annoying roommate in the world.

Deborah - But not pronounced Deborah. She insists I pronounce it Deb-bore-ah.

Twinkle%%% Van Winkle (without the % signs of course).  She is actually well known for making desserts.  Her parents were assholes.

I interviewed a guy named Quoc Hung. Pronounced like c0ck. We joked that he must've been named after his dad. I don't remember if we hired him. 

I also knew a Holly Wood, Precious, Diamond, Velvet, Exstacy (spelled that way), and Cotton.  I probably have more that I can't think of at the moment. We did a lot of volunteer work in a very low income area from the time I was probably 6 all the way through college, and there were a lot of teen moms. They were very sweet girls and I'm still in contact with a few of them, but they used very... "teen mom" kinda names for their babies. I hope that doesn't come across as judgey because I love them dearly and I don't judge the girls (just some the names they chose! ) 

The names themselves aren't weird, but I also knew a kid named Bob and his brother's name was Robert. That was just weird. 

Oh! And I was once involved in an accident with a woman named Aquanette.

I also knew a women with the last name Flower, who married a man with the last name Potts.  And she hyphenated...

My grandmas middle name is Refugio (pronounced re-few-hio, Spanish for refuge).

I dated a guy who's name is Margarito, nn is Lito.

My XH's name is Kaylon (pronounced kay-lawn).

An ex employee of mine named his son Hagen Danger so he could say that Danger is his middle name.

At my last job one of the new recruiters tried to tell us she had a candidate with this name and told the story of their conversation. I didn't have the heart to call raging BS on her; she was nice and just trying to fit in.

I went to school with a Diamond Nipple and a Candy Apple. I also know a Rayne Cloud. Nipple is a really common last name in my area so there is also a Rusty but I only knew his children,

I actually know several people on the list of "weirdest names" and never considered them odd names-probably because I've heard them often. Cloyd is in both sides of my family often-in fact if I'd had a brother his name would have been Benjamin Cloyd.
