My office door will be shut all day today, even though that's not really what people "do" here, because I won't risk getting the cold my co-worker has.  This is our first real vacation since our honeymoon, and I'm not risking it.

I confess that I'm convinced that Michael Jackson isn't really dead...I'm kind of like those people who think Elvis is still alive...haha!

If you think about it, his reputation was pretty tarnished when he was alive; but, after his death, his popularity soared. It would be the biggest publicity stunt ever! I was sure that he was going to moonwalk out of his hologram at the Billboard awards, haha!

Im debating calling in sick to work tomorrow and saturday, which would only leave me tonight and sunday to work before mat leave. I'd call in tonight and Sunday, but I'm the supervisor and I would feel too guilty.

Pregnancy + no ac at work today (again) = no tolerance for stupid today.

If my friend tells me I'll understand whatever crazy she's is saying once I have this kid I'm going to throat punch her! Today is how much her feelings are hurt she doesn't have enough leave to take off for her 2 year olds birthday. She's 2 she won't remember... I don't think that will change after I pop a kid out of my vagina.

Also, the highlight of my day was getting 4 emails from a cw about vodka this morning. He got wasted at a going away HH last night, he may have still been drunk at 7am. Then he sent me an 11 page copy of a chat we had 4 years ago with all these people we used to work with. Man, that was when work was fun...

I might talk H into just having ice cream for dinner tonight.

It's DH's birthday today, yay! and...I'm leaving work right now (this is my official time to leave, usually I stay later, but not today!) to go buy his present b/c I forgot!!! luckily he's not home til 5!!!

 

ETA- He's getting a fit bit!

I confess it made me feel good that I got asked to come in early to work tomorrow. I guess my boss feels I'm dependable to come in and be ready to work at 6 AM. Plus I'm getting over time. Hello sweet paycheck weeks before vacation.

I confess that I would love to throat punch a coworker because she seems to have a terrible attitude most of the time these days and it's usually because of something small/ridiculous. Must be the hormones, ha ha!
