  • I love Coca-Cola like there is no tomorrow.  I can almost feel it eating away at the enamel on my teeth and rotting my intestines, and I just don't care.  And screw Diet Coke, the real deal is so delicious.

I posted it on FB the other day when I did it but ... I actually fixed a sign with an incorrectly used apostrophe.  I just couldn't take one more day of apostrophe abuse so I did something about it.

I feel this way about diet soda.  I know I'm addicted and I know it's not good for me.  Society wants me to feel guilty about it, but I just don't.  Let me have a vice.

My friend and I did this in a Killington bar ladies' room back in February:

I had to boost my friend up to stand on the counter, but c'mon!  I appreciate the intent, but it almost looked like they left us room to correct their bad grammar.
Agreed.  I think more of us should do it.

I almost never drank full sugar coke before I was pregnant, but now I can't get enough of it (but I do limit myself because of the caffeine; I know, I know.).  I'm wondering how hard it's going to be to give up the sugary goodness after this baby is born though.  My non-pregnant figure can't handle it.

I have gotten nothing accomplished this week.  J is away and I had big plans for all this time. Yup. Nothing done. So now I am trying to squeeze all my big plans into today. I at least plan to watch Vampire Academy tonight! YAY!
  • It's been a ridiculously stressful day so far. I just want it to be next week so I can be camping and climbing trees and making fires and stuff. I think I'm going to take a moccasin making class.

I wonder if they meant, 'You R(are) Beautiful'  they should have done, 'U R Beautiful' if they wanted to do text speak!  lol!
  • @GreenBride624 - that never occurred to us!  Maybe you're right.  But yeah, they should've used "U R" if that was the intention.  As it was, it was very satisfying to fix the mistake, and made us feel good about ourselves, so there was that.

@dmlk413 I would be too! I am debating buying one or making one. Decisions decisions.

Just a marriage book.  Nothing majorly secret, just something I want to ponder in the peace of my own mind without explaining to him.

  • I had a ridiculously steamy dream about Joe Manganiello last night, but even in my dreams I'm loyal and faithful to my DH.  I hate myself sometimes.

Note to self, though: Watch True Blood before bed EVERY night!

    (Sorry so long)
I found out today that my 20 year old sister (21 next month) is 11 weeks pregnant. I'm still kind of in shock about it (she doesn't like babies and has always said she never wants marriage or kids). She's a mixture of nervous and overwhelmed by it all. She says she's excited but she keeps getting upset about gaining weight and stretch marks and losing her "freedom".

I'm a mixture of excited (I'm going to be an AUNT!!) and very sad about it. She was finally back in college and was enjoying being in school and working and having her own money. I feel guilty not being fully confident in her but she's always been pretty irresponsible and it just makes me nervous that she'll be going through a lot of changes in the next few months.

I guess I'm sad that she's also going to have to grow up so much faster. I loved being at that age and having fun and learning in school.

Note: I am NOT disappointed in her at all. But for the past few years I've played a major role in raising her and my youngest sister and I'm worried she won't be happy. I just want her to be happy. And I want her to not be afraid to come back to me for help, even though she was happy to finally be on her own.
