I am going to a debutant ball in Nashville and have a wedding dress that I never wore. I want to dye it in a bucket but this stupid lady at told me that I will hate myself because it won't be even. I thought it would save money but now second guessing.

Do you have another reason for the dress?  If not, I would just do it to risk it.  If it turns out horrible, I would donate.

My FFFC 

is that I am bitter.  I know I shouldn't be.  J always tells me that no one likes bitter people. He reminds me why I don't like his mom for this exact reason, but I can't help feel the bitterness rise from me out of nowhere.  Once the line has been crossed, usually hell will freeze over before its ok again. Basically, I suck at forgiving.

DH and I are upset his brother and his family won't come visit us. They live in the same town, but always want us to go over to their place. They do not keep their house clean and it smells of cat pee. We've been going over to their place for a year and they've only visited us 3 times or so. It is just frustrating.

I'm glad my dance recital is over!

Aleigha- if you want advice dying the dress, I am more than happy to help. I've dyed a lot of stuff over the years. You could do some pretty awesome stuff with that much fabric and make it look really cool. And if you try more of a tye-dying or shibori, you really can't screw it up.
