WW II Japanese internment camp rec

I just finished Between Shades of Gray this weekend and I'm shocked how every country involved in WW II had their own version on concentration camps.

I want to read something about American internment camps. Can anyone recommend anything along the lines of BSoG or Unbroken?

This was my city's Big Read thing a year or two ago. It's still on my shelf, but I've heard so many good things about it. (Plus, it looks like a quick read.)
