I created this account to insure none of my friends know who I am. I have several real life friends on the boards.
Yesterday I was sent a picture of a little boy that looks identical to my dh, I mean identical. The person (Kate) said, "this kid looks more like your dh than your baby does". There was a girl in the picture with the little that I know through mutual friends and I know for sure it is not her son. I asked Kate if she knew whose baby it was and she said she didn't but she would ask the girl pictured with the little boy.
When Kate asked the girl told her to mind her own business and to tell Traceway(me) to stay out of it, too. Kate never mentioned me. I was with her when she asked.
I've never questioned whether or not my husband was faithful to me, until now. I showed him the picture last night and all he said was how much they looked alike. He didn't avoid any of my questions and wasn't mad that I was asking.
But the way the girl acted and what she said still have me baffled. So, I guess my question is what would you think?
Re: What would you think?
Chances are you will never find out.
I wouldn't let something like this get into your head.
Baby Boy loved for 15 weeks, 5/31/11
Baby Girl loved for 16.5 weeks. 3/1/12
That being said - people have look-a-likes. I have a friend whose son has a friend that looks SO much like him that his own grandfather tried to pick the friend up one day at school instead of his actual grandson.
My friend doesn't think her DH fathered that child. (Granted, it's not that the kid looks exactly like her DH, he looks like her son - but still... point is, her son has a "twin").
Without more information, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions.
