fathers day gift?

I need to figure something out for Ben ASAP and I am at a complete loss. I mean we've been parents for a week and a half.

for mothers day I went fishing with him, he bought me a hammock at my request, and he bought me some hanging plants.

heck I think he'd be fine with Bear and I going fishing with him but I feel like I should get him something too...thoughts?

I usually don't do anything except for a card and a sometimes a sappy note telling him how great of a father he is. We are always on vacation every Father's Day and he spends 5 of those days golfing, so that's his "gift". I'm not much help.

Is there anything he needs for fishing or any other hobbies he enjoys?

we just did a huge shop at Cabela's so I don't think so. ugh. i'm sure he doesn't want anything, but I want to do something for him.

I bought him a new dad shirt with the year on it. He wore it all the time. I got it from cafepress.

Nothing. I didnt even get a card for mothers day so he isnt getting anything either. He doesnt believe in "Hallmark Holidays", but bought my mom a planter with flowers in it.

My SIL bought and helped Chase make me a planter with flowers. So should I get her something for Fathers Day? LOL!

Maybe a picture of bear for when Ben goes back to work? I know he can't take off long.

he's back working. he had to go back Wednesday after he was born. but maybe a picture for his wallet that is waterproof would be a good idea!

So I told ben that beAr and I wanted to go fishing with him on Sunday and he's all for it!! Tomorrow I need to get the picture thing taken care of

I also bought 2 books that he could read with M.. One was called "Daddies do it different" and the other was a board book about sushi. It had thinks for babies to touch like bumpy rice, crinkly seaweed wrappers, etc.

When Lillian was born (about a week and a half before Father's Day) I started a scrapbook. Each year I do one page with hand print, foot print, and a few pictures of them together. Now it's easy each year, and I think it will be really cute when the girls are 16 and 18 and their footprints take up the WHOLE page.

I also got him a camcorder the first year, but we rarely use it!

I might steal this idea! So cute! Only we both have tiny feet so our kids feet should still fit lol
