@amandaf6383‌ Where are you now in your weight loss? I can't see your siggy right now so I apologize if it says it in there. :)

  • @poppies717‌ Did they say you have to honor the name or it would just be nice? Or maybe you could honor the name by using the same/similar initials?

@OceanHutt‌ Yay for a textbook uterus! GL! Sorry about your rough week. I hope you start seeing the results you want soon!

  • @sgautschi‌ It was a pretty strong suggestion. When I brought up my concerns, I was told to "honor the name" over and over without clear answers about what it meant except "maybe a middle name." It is done in the best interest of BM, and not the child. Granted, I don't know that our BM will even name the child, but I have really issue with this. If that makes me a bitch, so be it.

  • @poppies717‌ I understand entirely why you are having issues with it. Hopefully BM either doesn't name or chooses something sensible! Since we are doing foster adopt we know our child will be named and we will be using that name for a minimum of 6 months so it doesn't seem that it will be practical to change at finalization (although we may change middle names to honor our own family). I'm just praying we don't get a John, or other really common name to go with the most common last name in at least our state probably the country...I also really dislike unisex names.

I don't think that makes you a bitch, I would have an issue with it too. Even though I can see where they're coming from at the same time. That's a tough one. :/

  • Sorry I'm so late ladies. The end of the week was nuts and I just wasn't on the computer much over the weekend. Lots of love to you all!!!

@Sewilson33 - so very happy to hear that acu is helping you! I hope your body continues to respond well to it!
@Rockabye - I'm so sorry, sweetie. :( That is a total mindfuck, and I'd be very upset about it, too, no matter how little I might have believed. A little hope is still hope. ((hugs))
@abt8113 - FX this cycle goes well and you have a great response to the meds!
@FutureMrsWright2012 - I'm sorry you don't have any frosties left; that's so disappointing! But you're PUPO!! Keep thinking positively; I've got everything crossed those perfect little embies are snuggling in!
@sweetpotato123 - that sounds like hell!! I'm so sorry for the ohss!! Ugh! Definitely NOT the outcome anyone wants. But I'm so glad you guys have frosties! FX You can do a FET really soon. Feel better!
@poppies717 - I <3 you. I don't think I could "honor" a name given by a BM either if it were something completely ridiculous. You have every right once you've adopted that child to change its name to whatever you think will be best for it going forward. You're definitely not a bitch for being hesitant about that.
@Xan921 - continuing to keep things crossed and sending good vibes for the all clear next week!!
