You guys know how the one house next to us is a rental, right? And we've had some super fun parking situations to deal with along with random parties, one of which involved drunken hipsters climbing from their deck to ours to use our stairs? (Is this ringing any bells?) Well...THEY MOVED OUT!!! A "for rent" sign appeared on 5/1, but it didn't seem like they were in a hurry to go anywhere, so we weren't holding our breath. But as of this weekend they are G-O-N-E! Sort of...
The one guy who (presumably) lived there had a seriously dilapidated El Camino that he was working on. He kept it out in the cul-de-sac, looking all ugly while it leaked oil and collected even more rust. It disappeared for a few weeks once, which was exciting, but of course it magically reappeared. And this lovely eyesore...is still here! It was moved to the other side of the cul-de-sac, I'm guessing because the landlord said it couldn't be where it used to be (in front of the house) while prospective tenants toured the property. But WHY is it still here?!?!
How long does it take for a vehicle to be considered abandoned?

Meanwhile, the tags...expired in APRIL! I'm starting to think that the guy decided to just throw in the towel and figured a neighbor would call it in so he wouldn't have to pay to get rid of it.
