I'm tired of packing, boxes, tape, labeling, and having to go through everything we own and purge all the random crap we've accumulated since our last move. I hate it.

This is basically going to be my life for the next week until we move. And then comes the unpacking. Ugh.

I'm writing a book.  Technically I'm writing 7 books because I have 7 partial stories that I can't get past a certain point and I could never decide which story that I wanted to continue. 
Well, a dream last week cemented it for me and I picked one.
I have the whole plot in my head and this is a story that I want to read, so I guess I have to write it. 
I guess I'll save the other 6 for whenever I get back to them!  I've been writing one of them for well over a decade now.

My cousin published a book of poems and one of them is about my wedding.  He even had a book signing at B&N.  Pretty cool.

I jokingly said I wanted to get the cold my husband had so we could get out of a family wedding this weekend, well now I'm getting sick and the wedding would have been less torture than this.

Lately, I have found myself being ridiculously excited for the next book in a series and then, once it comes out, I put off reading it. I still haven't read DoG&M and I love that series so much. Same thing for Into the Still Blue, WIMOHB, and probably Ruin & Rising. I'm not sure what my deal is.

I hate way too much chips and queso at lunch and now have to go sit in a meeting.  I really just put on some sweats and lay on the couch.

We moved a year ago & I still have an embarrassing number of boxes.

I think my dog is SERIOUSLY depressed about living in NYC. He hides under the end table all day like he's afraid of the apartment. He's only animated when we're outside. He misses grass.

I have purchased so many books in the past two months it's become slightly ridiculous. I've preordered all my fave authors upcoming books so I'm not allowed to buy anymore for the rest of the year. Unless there is an emergency...or a sale.

@GreenBride624 This is my fear. I'm the laziest person once we move in. I act like there is no rush and let the boxes drive me crazy forever. I still have a box and a plastic tote packed from our last move. I never  unpacked them in two years. :-S Obviously I don't need them and should throw them away, but instead I'm making myself go through it all (yearbooks, old photos, old papers and letters, etc.) before dumping it. 

Random, but what is the 624? Our anniversary is 6/24

I have a boss crush.  Coming from the absolute hell-hole of for-profit education and leadership that only cared about numbers, I was prepared for the worst.  Instead, she is awesome.  This week she moved her office to a bigger room and surprised me by getting me a new computer and desk in the office so I don't have to sit at the reference desk.  I told her I didn't mind sitting here since it's my job and she told me she wanted me to have a place to put up a picture of George if I wanted.  ::swoon::

I had a dream last night that I had cancer in my left leg and had to have it amputated. I really hope that's The Fault in Our Stars memories talking.

Randomly, I'm back, assuming anyone still remembers me... I had a baby and am doing the SAHM thing so it's not as easy for me to post throughout the day. I'm still reading all the time and teaching my son how amazing books are! For your viewing pleasure, I'm including a picture of him "reading" one of his favorite books, Home for a Bunny.
