Les Mills Body Pump certification

Who has it?

I'm looking at an Intial Training class at the end of the summer.  I'm curious on any tips, recommendations, etc to prepare for it.  I know I'll be sent tracks to memorize and perform at the training....but any certain exercises, workouts, etc I should be focusing on before?

I'm excited, but scared out of my mind too!  My body is always SPENT after a class...I can't imagine doing it over and over!  During the training class did you use smaller weights so you were able to push through and do the whole day?

Thanks for any help/insight!

Re: Les Mills Body Pump certification

  • There is a guy at my gym that is also learning to become an instructor.  He teaches half the class and the other instructor teaches the rest.  Maybe you can continue to do something like this until you work up to a full class.  The lighter weight sounds like a good idea also.  I am not an instructor but if I am having a day where I don't feel like I can go all out and not lose form I lower my weight.  I love body pump!  Congrats on wanting to become an instructor!
