What to do with a private master entrance to bath, i.e., "bath off master?"

We live in a 4 br, 1.5 bath, colonial with a unique set-up on the second floor. There is no master bath, but the master bedroom has what I call the "nook." The nook is a roughly 9'x6' area off the main part of the room with a sink/vanity, and a separate entrance to the main bath. The bathroom is on the small side, at about 5'x6'.

I am so curious to know what others think about this. Does anyone else have a bath with two entrances? Does having that private entrance add value to the home?

My husband and I have gone round and round trying to think of a better way to use that nook. The obvious choice is to close up that private entrance and turn the nook into a master bath. The problem is that the nook contains the master closet as well, and there really isn't a good place to move the closet without making the bedroom feel pretty small.

I've also thought of closing up the private entrance and turning the nook into a walk-in closet (current closet is a 6'x2' reach-in). Another idea is to make the bathroom bigger by taking space away from the nook. Remaining space in the nook could just become the master closet. I've also thought of just leaving it as is! It's functional, I just think it may be a bad use of space in a modestly sized house. It just kills me that we have this small master closet and small full bath, and then this waste of space just sitting there. Also, when we have guests over, it's a little weird to have two entrances on the only full bath in the house. It doesn't feel very private.

What scenario would add the most value to the house? Master bath? Bath with private entrance? Walk-in master closet?
