But seriously, unlike the movie, I'll never let go of this board and let it die!
Come back to me!!!!
I'm going to be working a ton during July, but I promise I will not let this place die. I just looked up the cost of all my rad tech books for my first semester and holy cow are they expensive! It's a good thing I'll be doing all that working because I'm going to need it to pay for those books. Ugh!
We went to a Crosscutters game last night. It was fun! They won 8-4 and afterwards there were fireworks (they do that after every saturday home game). It was a nice display and it was nice to get out for the evening!
How was everyone's weekend?!

Re: I'll never let go, Jack!
Our weekend was good. We ran an ice cream race on Sat am. It was a "5k" with ice cream themed obstacles. It was pretty fun. Then we went to the Lion King musical. It's the 2nd time I have seen it and it's still fantastic. Other than that our AC went out. Thank goodness for someone coming out yesterday and fixing it.

H and I went home over the weekend, back to Buffalo. It was a nice time. We saw my parents, grandparents, some of my cousins, friends from college and my GF from HS! My hometown also had fireworks on Sat. It was a great display. The finale was awesome!! We ate at one of our favorite restruant twice and had pizza and wings. Plus my dad made his famous tacos! Yummy!!!!
This weekend we are heading back to Buffalo. My uncle's family will be up from FL. My hometown has another carnival type thing with a beer tent and fireworks. Should be a good time!
Aggie: I am so glad to hear that your head is behaving!! Here's to a easier week at work!
JLQ: Yea for sister being closer. Boo for expensive books. I look at some of my text books and think that was a waste of $475.
Echo: hope you had fun at the wedding!
Today I just have 1 daycare child and tomorrow is Canada day so I'm closed. We're thinking of heading to the beach in the morning. It's craZy hot here too. Thankfully there is a bit of a breeze now so it's nice while were out playing.
My mom just called and she booked the time share in Sedona, AZ for a week next Spring. So excited! Can't wait to see the Grand Canyon and check AZ off my list. Hoping to maybe check NM as well. We shall see! Wohoo!!!

Work was not super busy yesterday. That or I just decided to ignore the work, haha! Today though the list is getting longer. H and I went to a finical adviser yesterday. He said we were doing good and made some minor suggestions. Yea us! Money sucks!
Tonight we have some more errands to get done. Laundry, Portland, OR research, dinner prep, and prep for this weekend.
Aggie: enjoy your day off. Nap sounds wonderful.
JLQ: I hope H stops being a jerk! I NCIS head slap should do the trick.

MY SISTER GOT ENGAGED YESTERDAY!! She just called and told me. I am so excited for them. Let the craziness begin! LOL!!!
We had a fun Canada day yesterday. We went to the beach and ds1 loved the water. Then we had dinner with dh's family which was fun. It was the first time all 4 of the boys - my two plus two other nephews - have been together. We got a cute pic of them.
Glad you had a great day Echo with family and fun :-)

Did we already discuss everyone's plans for tomorrow my American friends?
my read shelf:
This weekend we have our nephews 2nd birthday party. That's our excitement. We also have to do stuff around the house.
And I need to start working out! I'm doing a planning challenge for the month and am trying to do push ups after I plank so it's a start. I just need to tone so badly. I have no weight to lose and haven't been my current weight since probably grade 9.
I just feel like I have no time and the time I could use to work out is when the dishes and laundry and cleaning should get done. I think I need to do something different with my timing though because I need to work out
