Cat sitting

When we go away I asked my neighbor to come feed my cat. She just finished high school. She has to come over in the morning and after dinner for a week. How much do you think I should pay her?

Re: Cat sitting

  • $40- $50. Extra for cleaning litter boxes. ;)

  • We paid $7/day for a dog Walker if that helps.

I would say $50.  To me, $50 is on the cusp of seeming like a lot of money and not seeming like a lot of money.  So it wouldn't seem like a big deal to me to pay her that, but at the same time I would be stoked if someone paid me $50 to cat sit.

I'm not sure that made sense, but that's my opinion :-)

That's what I was thinking @janma529  $50 is enough to make it worth her while, but not a terrible inconvenience for us. And I want to make her happy because I'll need her again in August!
