Hopefully this is it!!
So, we decided to walk on that last lot I posted about. It was a great lot, but H didn't like that it was missing a few key things we wanted in a property, mainly the size being on the small side. He felt like we would have been settling. We decided to walk away for a week to see if the seller woukd come down to our offer price, but that we'd also explore other options. Well, on Tuesday, H saw a new listing for a lot we had actually seen with a builder we interviewed a few weeks back. It was a lot they had been holding to hopefully build on and I guess they decided to just list it along with another lot right next to it totalling 3 acres. The price for both lots was the same as the single lot we walked on! We submitted an offer yesterday afternoon and it was accepted later in the day! It still has a lake view, but not as much of one which we are okay with because of the size. It's also in a gated community with high end homes. We are so excited!!
Now, this part is kinda crazy! @goatlady12 messaged me when I wrote the last post saying she felt this wasn't the right lot for us and that something better was going to come along. I told H and that's also what made us feel more comfortable with walking from it. So major thanks to you Heidi!!
