Do you have any tattoos? Does DH?

DH has none.  I have 3, water and wind on on the side of my right calf, earth and fire on the side of my left calf.  Then there is a dice tattoo in my hip, I woke up with that one in Vegas.  We were drinking at a tattoo parlor you paid like $15 for open bar.  I think a lot of people woke up with tattoos...

Yes, we each have 2, though I've been wanting another one lately. I have the Japanese kanji for 'endurance' on my right shoulder and the phrase 'only for now', which is a line from my favorite musical, on my left ankle. Cool story about the second tattoo, I actually had that one done in Las Vegas at Hart and Huntington, where the tv show "Inked" was filmed. I call it my souvenir.

H's tattoos are both on his upper arms. He has the Norse rune for strength in a Celtic circle on one side and a tiger fighting a dragon on the other.

I do not but I love watching tattoo shows (ink masters, etc). I doubt I'll ever do it... My ex bil did tattoos but no way in hell if let him touch me.

H has a barb wire on his arm and a shoulder tattoo of card suits and says born loser. Both are kinda jacked... He wants to cover them up with a full shoulder of gears etc. There's a shop around the corner and one artist is suppose to be on ink masters... He's friends with halo (Baltimore guy).

I don't have any, not really a tattoo person myself.  DH has one, he loves tattoos.  He got it when his dad left them, it's a Chinese symbol between his shoulder blades and it means strength or warrior or something like that.  It's kind of faded, I keep telling him to either fill it in, get something over the top of it, or have it removed altogether.  Don't just let it fade and look crappy!

No tattoos for either of us right now. I think he wanted to get a logo from one of his favorite games done. They apparently have a technology that allows it to look fairly invisible on skin but it shows under blacklight. So he was opting for that.
When I was in high school and college, I had wanted an atom. But I'm too chicken around needles. (Despite the fact that I'm posting this while waiting to get allergy shots)

I have one that takes up about 1/3 of my back. DH doesn't have any, but really wants one. Right now it's just not in our budget.

We don't have any. When I was in high school I really wanted one but I am kinda glad I never went through with it. I wanted it on the front of my hip but then someone asked what I thought it would look like when I got pregnant...

I have several that as I've gotten them have been added to the next to make it one large piece.  First one was a small butterfly by my pelvic bone when I was 18.  Then I stupidly got my XH's name on my back hip.  After we divorced, I got it covered with a rose.  Then I added a vine design that goes from the rose across my lower back to my other hip.  The last one I got goes up my right side from my hip to my rib cage that is three butterflies with more vine type of designs.

H doesn't have any but he often mentions he'd like to get one.

I have 3, all of which pregnancy destroyed I have the symbols for energy and eternity on my hips and Ohana on my ring finger with an eternity symbol.

I think this was the perfect question for today, as I have an appointment in 30 minutes to get my 3rd!!

I have 2 currently, a celtic lovers knot on my right hip, the Irish claddagh on my left lower back. Today I'm getting an HP tattoo. H isn't a huge tattoo fan, so he doesn't have any.

I have 1.  It was a ladybug on the inner side of my right ankle.  I wanted it removed, so a few years ago went through treatment.  I only needed like 2 more treatments and stopped.  It was very light, but appears to have gotten darker with pregnancy.  Maybe I'll look into finishing the job.

H has none.  That's one of the many things that I love about him.

ETA- My mom begged me not to get mine, but I didn't listen.  I should have listened to her.

we don't have any both want one.  I want to get this symbol [ o ] which is supposed to be a camera because I'm a photog.  H wants to get his blood type tattooed on his arm.

I have the kanji for "mother" on my right shoulder; I got it at 19, the year after my mom died. I don't have any interest in getting another, maybe getting mine touched up as it has faded quite a bit.

H has the Sacred Heart on his right shoulder (got it the same summer at the same parlor as me, weird!) and a guitar made of Celtic knots with the Celtic words for "love" and "music" on his left bicep. He would consider getting another, but doesn't have any plans or ideas.
