I guess it is fitting that I finally finished this book recently after the Louis Zamperini (subject of Unbroken) died. But this book was AMAZING definitely a 5 star book for me! Thank You @zeusLBA for recommending, I prob never would have picked it up and I didn't realize that they are going to be making it into a movie! Louie was an extraordinary man, his struggles and the obstacles he overcame are so inspiring, if you haven't read it PLEASE DO! How a man can live through and survive things he went through, no one will ever know. The lessons he learned and the things he did with them make him such a remarkable man!

ETA: I started out reading this book thinking what a horrible devil child hahahaha but seeing what he became was quite shocking and amazing!

I'm so glad you liked it! Unbroken is one of the best books I've read in a long time! I actually bought it for my husband a few years ago in one of my many attempts to get him to read but of course I was the one that ended up reading it! 

If you haven't read it yet, it's a great one for the "read a book suggested in the book lottery" category for SuBC!
