Re: Company

  • In the summer time we usually grill.  I usually make cheesy potatoes to go with whatever we grill.  In the cooler months I prefer to do something like lasagna.  Neither my husband or I like to cook, so we keep things simple and are boring in the preparing food department.

  • I have a mushroom risotto dish that's vegetarian that I've perfected over the years. I love good vegetarian dishes. My favorite

  • Definitely grill.

We usually have people over in the summer more than the winter. I don't see that changing this winter!

  • I agree that during the summer we grill. Hamburgers/hot dogs is a good go to also some chicken and sausage. We usually try to pair those with a salad or some beans or veggies.

Any other time I like to do manacotti. Similar to lasagna but I feel like it's something that just about everyone eats if you do it with just meat and cheese and sauce. I have also done some skillet chicken with mushrooms and cheese and bacon. And then you can do just about anything for a side.
  • In the apartment, we only had a few get together and I always made bbq pulled pork and ranch potatoes (sorry @geojam224, no ranch for you, promise). We have not really had any over to dinner at the house yet. We should. We have already been there 6 months.
