What to do with narrow loft space?
We have lived in our apartment for two years, and we just renewed our lease. We have done NOTHING with this space and I refuse to live here another year without taking advantage of it. It's a difficult space, it's about 7.5 feet wide and very long. The end is where a second bathroom and laundry room is. Then to the left of the bathroom is a little nook, that is where my office space is. But it's very small (I don't need a lot of space, just enough space for a computer and printer!)
The couch there right now was one our landlord gave us because he didn't feel like putting it in storage. No one ever sits on it. No one ever uses this space ever. We have a very cozy living room downstairs that we prefer to sit in. I want to turn this into a guest space, but since its such a narrow room we'd have to do a futon. A sleeper sofa I think would be too wide. The slopped ceiling is also a problem.
Any other ideas?? Thank you in advance.
