I've been listening to Dreams of Gods and Monsters, but I'm not loving it.  I'm kind of bored. :( #52

I am reading Curtsies and Conspiracies which is good.

I am listening to The Best of Me which is a mistake. Horrible narrator. I have to check but I think it Nicholas Sparks himself.

I started rereading HP1 yesterday and I'm listening to a romance called Laiden's Daughter.  I alternate between enjoying it and wanting to shake the heroine at times.

    My favorite Cake Wreck ever.

  • I am reading Hard Bitten in Chicagoland Vampires. While I don't know if I ever will like Merit, I dislike her less. It is somewhere around 85 for the year.

  • I should finish MOBY today. I love it and don't want it to end. I've been dragging it out, savoring it. It has me very excited for the tv series.
I'm still listening to The Goldfinch on audio. It's by far the longest most detailed audiobook I've ever listened to. It's good and I'm enjoying it, but I started it almost a month ago and am only on track 21 of 32.
They're books 35 and 36 for the year.

  • I am reading:

Russka by Edward Rutherfurd.  It is okay.  I don't love it as much as his other stuff that I have read.

    also reading:

Beyond Training: Mastering Endurance, Health & Life by Ben Greenfield.  It is very interesting if not a bit OCD.  It is geared toward endurance athletes but there are tidbits and tips for the average joe as well.  I am taking away some very interesting tidbits from reading it.

I'm also about a quarter of the way through Longbourn. I'm savoring every moment.

These will both apply to SuBC somehow. #17 and #18/30 for the year.
  • I just started Surrender to Sultry. 27 for the year. I'm only on chapter 3 but I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I'm listening to Outlander...still. it's so long but so good!

I'm still listening to and loving Unbroken.

I'm also reading my friend Mason's novella Piercing the Veil, which is a cool sci-fi story that just came out recently and The Shadow Scholar by Dave Tomar.
