  • Married in November 2010. :)

  • If you want old, there's my parents' wedding photos.:)

Back in that day, a wedding was put together in under 2 months. Nobody had to give a year's notice for the venue or the church or the this or that --- all you really need is a place to hold the ceremony, a place for the reception, photos and music.:)

(they plan "very last minute" do it for repasts, minus the music and dancing, etc --- why can't we still do the same for a wedding?)

The gown was beautiful --- my mother got it off rack in a department store that doesn't exist anymore. In those days, common to have a bridal shop in every mainstream department store.

The gown was so fantastic that I had it reproduced years later for my own wedding.

The veil was kaput --- it crumbled into an orangey powdery mess.:( The headpiece I tried to reproduce, using buckram --- I didn't like the way it came out so I got another one somewhere else -- the veil itself I made and that was pretty easy to do, believe it or not. It was a 7 yard cathedral length veil so I had to move furniture to lay out the tulle to do the cutting)
