Finally started Mistborn!

My IRL reading BFF has been telling me I'll love this series and Julie (1/3 of my reading triplet-ship) read it and I remember her singing its praises, but fantasy and cheesy covers are not really my fave, so I've always kept it in the back of my mind but never jumped. 

On Saturday I was at B&N and they and this table of freebies set up and one of the things was a 103 page sampler of Mistborn (The other side was 200-ish pages of another series of his?) so I grabbed it.

IRL BFF and Julie were right. I finished the 103 pages so fast and can tell that I'll be sucked into this world so easily. 

Need to get back to B&N and get the whole book before I forget who everyone is and what is going on

I really enjoyed the first two. I have yet to grab book 3.

YAY!  I loved this series.  It's pretty hard-core fantasy - I wouldn't say it "transcends" the genre or anything - but it's SOO. GOOD. 

And it gives me a conversation starter when I need one of my tech guys at work to do things for me ;-)

I'm still mad at @elistar for not finishing this series.

I LOVED the first book. That second book is on my to-do list, right next to DT #7. LOL

DT as in Dark Tower? Like.... you read 6 of them AND NOT THE SEVENTH??!?

But I also do. This is one of the more irrational non-decisions I've ever made.

I loved this series.  It was amazing!
