    At first I was just voting the visa giftcard, but I really like that necklace. I think it'd mean a lot and I'm not sure it's something she'd buy for herself. So I vote that (or something similar) and then the rest on a Visa giftcard :)

    T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

    The only hesitation I have with buying someone jewelry is that it may not be her style.  She may not want to have it be obvious that someone passed away and have to answer and re-answer the questions every time she wears it. Now, she may love it and I know she's grateful for us and anything we do, so I don't think we can go wrong.  

    But I'd be hesitant to buy someone else jewelry for a memorial.

    I voted naming a star because I think that is a beautiful way to memorialize someone. I also think giving her all the money is a good idea too though.

    Google suggests the star thing is kind of a scam, which makes me sad.  And I love that necklace but I kind of agree with Aim.  I wish I had a better idea for a nice, small, something, but I don't.

    The only issue with the visa gc is that some places put a hold on the card like a regular credit/debit card. She may not be able to use it when she wants for what she wants when the funds drop. If she has a check, the funds are easily accessed.

    I didn't want to post this earlier, but I'm tipsy.....

    The star is totally a scam.

    We got one when I had Baby. A family member got one from her boyfriend at the time. It's the same star.

    That being said, it's the thought that counts.
