SuBC Task - Stalled out series - Dark Triumph
So for the SuBC Task "Read the next book in a series you started but stalled out on", I chose Dark Triumph which is book 2 of the "His Fair Assassin" series by Robin LaFevers.
I listened to the first book on audio last summer and enjoyed it however as each book is their own story I didn't feel the need to immediately rush to book 2. This task gave me the chance though to catch up on book 2. I also chose to listen to this one on audio and I really liked the narrator. Overall I actually liked this book better than the first one. It was a bit darker and I thought the main character was easier to relate to than in the first book.
Glad I listened to this one, there is a third one coming out later this and I'm sure I'll eventually read it.
