Easy grill recipes

Anyone have any super easy grill recipes?  We're new to grilling but having people over for a bbq tomorrow so want something really easy to cook but fun and tasty.  Thanks!

Re: Easy grill recipes

  • We marinate chicken breasts in italian dressing and cook them on the grill.

We do chicken breasts with store-bought jerk sauce, then we serve it with baba ganoush! It seems like an odd combination but the mild baba ganoush helps with the jerk sauce heat.

Also, if you have a grill basket you can chop up a bunch of veggies, lots of EVOO, and put them on the grill until tender. Then you can serve them with some balsamic, and if you want you can add goat cheese or feta.

This one takes a little prep but super delicious - par-boil some small potatoes then put them in the grill basket until they are fully cooked. Wait for them to cool slightly then toss them in Renee's ceasar dressing, bacon bits, and green onions. Mmmm

If all else fails, hot dogs are sure to please :)

  • I'm a little late, but for future reference, we grill everything! Chicken, steak, pork chops, fish in foil packets, veggies brushed in EVOO and cut into large chunks, cut up sweet potatoes, corn on the cob (still in the husks, soaked for a bit in water to prevent burning). We keep it pretty simple and either add sauce later or just eat as is!

  • Also late to the party.  I like to put mushrooms, minced garlic, and olive oil in a foil pack and throw that on the grill for a quick side.  I tend to use a ton of pre-marinated meats in the summer too.  Salmon on the grill with a sauce of: hoisin, dijon, and maple syrup.

I have some amazing ones that take  little work, if you'd be interested.
