How to change this knob?

I want to change a new knob but I can't find anyway to uninstall this old knob even I unscrew those two screws.   many thanks!!

  • Have you tried pulling it off? You should try putting a little bit of olive oil, or WD40 at the back side and let it sit for a bit. Once it has sat for a bit, try to pull it off. If this knob actually pulls out and then turns left or right to turn the water on, you'll probably want to turn off the water to the shower first and then try to pull off the knob. No sense in getting wet for no reason and then not being able to turn the water off without a knob!
