I have to have an MRI tomorrow. I have been problems with my ear (as some of you already know from a long time ago) and I just found out that it has nothing to do with my allergies, which is what has been told to me for almost 5 years. I have hearing loss and tinnitus in one ear. The doctor is saying that it could be acoustic neuroma. I am trying to be hopeful but I'm freaking out a little bit. If it is AN, then it's a benign tumor and it can most likely be removed, but just going through that whole process makes me sick to my stomach. I haven't told really anyone other than my parents and hubby about that possibility because I don't want to freak anyone else out. I just hope it's just normal hearing loss, I get a hearing aid, and all is right with the world. It's been seriously affecting my reading and pretty much everything else because I get SOO frustrated with the tinnitus and it sometimes affects my vision.
I'm talking in circles...
Anyway, T & P would be nice, y'all.
Thanks

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
