    Our neighbors' two kids are the laziest girls on the planet.  They drive their mom's minivan to the top of the (not very long and not very steep) hill to catch the bus, then back down again in the afternoon.  It stays parked up there all damn day.  They look old enough to drive, but maybe they're not strictly legal, which is why I guess they don't just drive their lazy asses to school.  I know for a fact that they're physically capable because they don't do it every day.  I weep for our future.

    This isn't really random, but I seriously don't want to do anything at work today even though I have so much that needs to be done.  I have a pretty big deadline in 2 weeks that I have been telling everyone for at least the past 6 months that I can't make, which still appears to be the case, so I just really am not looking forward to any of this.

    I don't know who Matthew Nathanson is.

    I have been feeling the urge to spend money on frivolous things that I don't really need. Mostly decorative things for our house and clothes (which I kinda do need).

    Make sure you buy merch so you can do a meet and greet. Matt hugs are the best thing ever in all of life. I'm super jealous, I won't see him again until the end of September. Take pictures!!!

    I'm sorry it didn't work out for you here.  I know I live right next door in NJ but it's not my favorite plance in the world either.  I'd much rather go to Philly or Boston, much to the displeasure of my Brooklyn born Hubs.

    @Skeezon - I'm sorry it's so horrible for you. I think only people who are extraordinarily wealthy can live in NYC happily. So basically like, Beyonce and Barbara Walters. 

    Are you going to move back to LA? Consider moving west...it's amazeballs here!

    It has been a couple of weeks.  It's been a long time since I've had a "real" job, I don't know how to do these things anymore!
