2 year anniversary ideas

H and I are getting close to our 2nd anniversary. We usually take a week off of work and go to Myrtle beach -10 hours away, and my family has a house there, for vacation/anniversary. This year, neither of us have the leave to take a full week (I took 12 weeks of leave for the birth of our first daughter, and DH stopped working for himself and landed a job working for Volvo Construction Equipment, so he only has 1 personal day), so we are only going to take a 3 day weekend,  and go to a more low key beach, much closer to home, the weekend after our anniversary. Our anniversary is on a Monday. Im looking for ideas of what to do the evening of our anniversary to make it special. We could go out to dinner, but that just doesn't seem special since we normally go for dinner monthly for "date night"

Any ideas would be helpful and greatly appreciated! TIA

Re: 2 year anniversary ideas

  • Could you try somewhere you haven't been to, perhaps?
  • On our anniversary we always pick a new restaurant to try.  Or what about doing dinner and a movie instead?

First of all, many congratulations to you on your wedding anniversary and birth of a baby girl. Apart from a candle light dinner and tasting the favorite cuisine, you can give a special gift to him. That gift can include a royal branded tie or an original pack of his preferred books if he loves to read. You can make the moment more romantic by choosing a ring set, which includes matching rings for you and him. A plain and dapper band for him and a fashionable ring for you will be a great idea to relive your wedding moments.

Furthermore, since it is your second anniversary, you can choose a theme for decoration and gifts. Dark red hue of garnet is the color for second anniversaries and thus, you can ask for red balloons, red dinner table cloth, red cutlery, red cherry cake, and all other red combinations at the time of dinner. Dress yourself in royal red or maroon dress, and for the gift, garnet ring pairs will do it all. If your husband is not very fond of rings and jewelry, get garnet studded brooch or cufflinks. He will love this gesture and make it fancier in his own way. To be very true, garnet jewelry will fall in your budget too.
