name change help!

Hey guys! I just got married last month.. I've been waiting for my copy of my marriage license to come in the mail to change my name... Now I have a question.. Have any of you brides changed your name with the ssa by mail? I just dont have time to get the the social security office and honestly it just seems so much easier to send all my stuff in... Do you get the documents you send back? For instance i i was to send my original birth certificate would i get that back? Also i was being a dork and only ordered one copy of my marriage license... So will they send that back too? Thanks so much for the help!

OMG!!!! Thank you SO much! I thought I had to go to the SSA in person. I've been married for over a year and still haven't changed my name because the thought of standing for hours in line at the SSA office (and yes, it takes that long where I live)....only to then turn around and go to the DMV and wait hours in line again has just been a bit daunting.
Not to mention, the OOT county,state I got married in never sent me an original so I have to write a letter, get it notarized, fill out a form, and pay a fee to GET an original. Argh!
