Weekend Plans?

Long weekend – woot!

Tonight – Easy dinner and try to get the kids to bed on time after a busy week. Then I’m heading over to a neighbor’s house to sew! I gathered my materials last night and I’m looking forward to turning my Spool Fabric Shop purchase into skirts for Heather!

Tomorrow – Haircut for Heather in the morning. R and the kids will head to his mom’s when we return. I want to work on a couple of patterns, put away baskets of clean laundry and deal with the mountain of summer camp artwork and papers.

Sunday – Quiet day. Must go to the grocery store if we want to eat next week. Finish what didn’t get done on Saturday and hopefully relax a bit. Maybe Reservoir of Jazz with picnic dinner.

Monday – Afternoon pool party at the house of one of Heather’s friends.

Re: Weekend Plans?

  • YAY to the long weekend!!  My mom is staying with us until Sunday while Brian still tries to adjust to his brace....he can't do much, so she's coming to keep us company and let me get some stuff done!

Tonight: Brian has his fantasy football draft, so my mom and I will just hang out with the kiddos then probably watch some TLC wedding shows :)  my idea of a great friday night!

Saturday: need to get the boys itty bitty suits for my SIL's wedding (so cute!) so I'm going to hit the mall by myself in the hopes of finding something while my mom stays with the boys.  no plans for the afternoon

Sunday: going to breakfast with some friends to celebrate surviving the first week of school :)  grocery shopping at some point

    Monday: NO PLANS. :)

  • I'd say I was looking forward to the long weekend, but Sean is in full-out, 20-mo old turd mode right now and I am not looking forward to being stuck in the house all weekend with him! Of course, we've barely had any bad weather since early July and they're calling for 50-70% chance of rain today through Sunday. :(

Takeout tonight FOR SURE. I'm wrecked. this weekend will include, in no particualr order: check out a kennel to make sure I want to leave the pup there when we go away next month; hoping to have some people over on Sunday to swim, but who knows if they are coming or if the weather will cooperate; return a dress to JCP and look for another at Macy's for this wedding we're going away for; get a pedi and do a bit of grocery shopping.

    Have a good one, ladies!

Tonight: run to Target after work then pick up pizza and salad

Saturday: I believe my husband is working. I want to run to ikea and get some new pillows and look at their window treatments. The plastic rolling blinds need to go! If the weather cooperates, I would like to clean the area rug in our dining room.

Sunday & Monday: No plans. Nathan got my laptops fixed so I can finally play with the Silhouette he bought me as an anniversary present. I do need to get a new mat since I cut mine while making my SIL shower decorations. I also need to go to the grocery store and Trader Joe's.

At some point, we have to go to the mall to reserve a vest & tie for the wedding Nathan is in next month. Why they just didn't rent tuxes is beyond me, since I had to buy him another suit because he has a navy and grey one but not black. The man wears a suit once or twice a year and now has three! We also need to find him a new white shirt. I would also like to go to the mall and get some new pants and bras, exciting! But I will do this without my husband!

Monday: No true plans.  I'll probably do some school work and try to get the house cleaned and organized for the first week of school.

  • we are thinking about hitting up ren fest. never been before but since our son is going to be a knight for halloween we thought we'd use it as a teaching opportunity.  not sure i want to be there in 90 degrees or raining though...and our other weekends are already packed....

also wouldn't 'mind hitting up the outlets but shopping with kids sucks.
  • Today is my DH's birthday, but he's been traveling this week and won't get home until pretty launch, so we're having a few people over tomorrow for dinner. Which means most of the day will be spent cooking and cleaning ;-) That's really the only plan we have for the weekend, but DH is taking the week off and we have a huge list of things we'd like to get done. Thankfully the list includes some fun things too like lunch and shopping in the strip, a trip to Ikea, and the zoo if it's nice one day.
  • Tonight - soccer practice and our hairdresser squeezed the boys in after for a haircut at the last minute.

Saturday - Brody has a playdate at his BFF's house, swim party at my parents house - the last one before they retire to Florida at the end of September. :((

Sunday -we are heading to Cincinnati for DH and Noah to participate in the championship of the Great Amazing Race (they did it in May and came in first place in their age group!).  They have a picnic after, so Brody and I are tagging along to cheer them on and go to the picnic.  We're staying over so after we'll hang at the hotel pool.

Monday - drive home from Cincinnati.
  • We have NO plans. A glorious, glorious weekend with no plans!
  • Looking at the forcast, I will be swimming tomorrow.  EJ has plans with my ILs so we are without her which means maybe Kev and I will go out for dinner.  Sunday Kev has his fantasy draft. Monday we are having friends over.  If I have the energy, I would like to continue purging crap from our house!
  • Tonight  - last Friday at the pool :((  smores at the neighbor's house
Tomorrow - grocery shopping, gymnastic classes for Eamon & Keira - running errands, returning things, more pool & no plans in evening
Sunday - church & probably pool again (see a theme? - sucking all we can out of summer). maybe cookout with my sister
Monday - no plans i.e. pool!

Somewhere in the "pooling" = cleaning out girls room to make way for bunk beds, trip to Goodwill to deposit many boxes of things from girls room!  Oh yeah and maybe just maybe I will cook some freezer meals to make in the coming weeks & meal plan for next week! :))

  • Tonight:  DH has his scotch/bourbon group so the girls rode powerwheels around the neighborhood.  After they went to sleep, I got to get in a PiYo workout, shower and now uninterrupted aimless internet surfing while the girls are asleep with a glass of wine in hand.

Tomorrow:  up early to finish straightening up for DH's 2/3 Fantasy Football draft that we are hosting then off to a birthday party.

Sunday:  Park picnic at my parents house then a church picnic/fireworks in evening.

Monday:  Cookout and lot's of unpacking and repacking for a girls trip next weekend.
