Anyone use Sprint?

They have a good deal on a family plan, so I'm looking into them (we're currently with ATT). I always kind of wrote off Sprint, but in reading it sounds like they've been doing a lot to improve their service, particularly in our area. Any info is appreciated!

Re: Anyone use Sprint?

  • I have been with them an obnoxious number of years, however I live nowhere near you. I will say that we don't have great coverage in our house and they gave us an Airave in order to boost our signal at the first complaint. They also replaced said Airave when it crapped out on me earlier this summer. I drop calls here and there. They are upgrading towers and I do notice LTE service a lot more than I used to.
  • They have added a lot of towers, so the signal quality has definitely improved. However, I would still probably find a friend with Sprint and get them to come over to your house and see how their phone does, just in case.

I will add that we've had Sprint about forever (since 2000, separately, and a joint account since 2005), and I really like them. We will probably never change companies unless we happen to live somewhere where we don't get a signal. But I'm not gonna lie, that would be a bit disappointing
