  • I LOVE college football.

South Carolina Gamecocks are my team.

    No gameday superstitions.

At tailgate, I love chik fil a trays, these amazing turkey sandwiches I make, dips, and brownies stuffed with candy (snickers and reeses) and topped with icing and sprinkles. Buffalo chicken dip is also pretty amazing. Can you tell I'm excited for Saturday???!

  • Do you love football or hate it? "hate" is a strong word, but I don't care for football. It's uninteresting and there are too many rules and exceptions. I just don't get it. Which is too bad because DH adores football. He calls it Football Season... I call it Scrapbook Season. I get to lock myself in my craft room and make stuff for a few months so it's a win for me I guess! Oh, but I do really hate traffic at Jerry World when there's a Cowboy game. Makes my commute suck, which makes me dislike foosball even more.

Do you have a favorite team?  If so, who? No. But DH bleeds maroon and white (A&M) and he also really likes to watch the Cryboys play.

Do you have any game day superstitions?  If so, what? No.

What are your go-to game day snacks? n/a

  • I like football--I watched it a lot more in college than I do now.

I love the Mizzou Tigers and I go to Rams games.

We tailgate at most Rams games (season ticket holders)--but other than food and drinks before the game, we don't have any superstitions.

I saw some pretty great snack ideas from you guys--but when I think football, I always think hot wings, dips, and all the beer.  When we tailgate, though, our little group always picks a theme and everyone brings snacks for that.  It makes going to Rams games a little more exciting!

Do you have any game day superstitions?  If so, what? Nope.

What are your go-to game day snacks? I like all sorts of dip. Like, every kind in the history of ever.  H likes any kind of snacks, so usually I make queso and one other dip.  If we're having people over, then we have wings, pizza, chips and dip, chili, the works.

@jt305, we just moved to STL, no one really seems to get into Rams games.  I mean, I haven't met a single Rams fan since we've been here.

We hate them, too! My gram always had baked beans and hot dogs for dinner on Saturdays, and my mom would have to make me a completely separate meal. I only like green beans and lima beans. The texture of all the other beans makes me want to vomit.

We had friends over a few years ago for a game, so I put some beans in the chili to look "normal." Turns out our friends never put beans in their chili and only put them in when we would come over for games. We bonded over our mutual bean hate.

  • Do you love football or hate it? LOVE football season, but then I love all things fall and football's a big part of it. Lazy football-watching Sundays at home, tailgating for games - love it all.

Do you have a favorite team?  If so, who? Cleveland Browns! Followed by the Ohio State Buckeyes and OU Bobcats (that's where I went).

Do you have any game day superstitions?  If so, what? Not game-day, but you can rest assured if I buy the jersey of the Browns quarterback any given year, he will not last the season. It's the jersey curse. I finally caught on & didn't buy one this year so maybe we'll have some luck!

What are your go-to game day snacks? I make a huge pot of chili - 6 kinds of beans, 2-3 kinds of meat, 6 kinds of peppers, the whole nine yards. I also make a separate, smaller pot sans beans for my bean-hating husband :)
