Kids' shoes sizing help

I want to order a pair of shoes for dd online. They aren't available in store so she can't try on at all. I downloaded the size measure thing. One foot is right about 12 and the other is slightly smaller (like a little over 11.5.

I never really pay attention to what she measures when I buy. I usually have her try on and have a little room to grow.

Should I order up a size since her bigger foot is right at 12? I plan to order 2 sizes but not sure where to start. Would you go with 12.5 and 13? Or something else?

I know ordering is risky. And I know it varies but figured I'd see what others would do!

  • I think 12.5 and 13 would be the right place to start. and it isn't odd that her feet are different sizes, that is pretty normal for everyone!
  • I would order a pair of shoes the same size she's wearing now (assuming you bought her new shoes for school) and another pair a half size bigger.

I didn't but her any new shoes. She has a pair from spring that are 11 but are getting tight. But obviously they must be on the big side if she even fits in them. We bought her sneakers over the summer but they seemed to run small and got a 13 I think. I guess 12.5 and 13 makes most sense

  • It's a tough call.  What brand are they?

  • Just payless...they are disney frozen shoes (Mary Janes). She has had other Disney Mary Jane ones from there before but not recently enough to compare sizes.
