playroom paint follow up

Remember at the beginning of summer when I was asking for paint suggestions for our playroom for the paneled wall?  We finally took the plunge last month and decided on colors and got someone to come in to do it...SO happy with how it turned out!  We went with Sherwin Williams "perfect greige" (which was recommended by someone on here...can't remember who, but thank you!)  for the wall and white for the shelves.  I just posted the before/after pics on my blog:

That looks awesome!  It really brightens up the room, and I'm sure makes it feel bigger.

BUT (and I still need to get pics of this) we did paint our vanity in our master bath and replaced all of the 1970s style fixtures....super easy fix, much cheaper than replacing the whole vanity itself, I'm really happy with how it turned out.  He has agreed that he will take the same paint and paint the vanity in our basement bathroom now that he has enjoyed the results upstairs so much   baby steps, I suppose.

I think it looks great Emmy!  And it lets you appreciate the brick more now that it isn't competing with the wood paneling.

love it - waiting for those bathroom pictures!  I thought of you the other night b/c John and I went out for dinner for my birthday and stopped at Home Depot after!  John was like "wow this is a really crazy night"

That turned out great!  And it's really the perfect color to compliment and beautify the brick.

This looks great! Steve's doing our paneling up the lake in a few weeks, and seeing how nicely yours has turned out has gotten me more excited for our project
