SuBC book from a series you stalled out on: Definitely Dead
Last year I read the first five books in the Sookie Stackhouse series back to back. I liked Sookie's character and the mix of humor and action, but by the fifth book they were starting to feel kind of repetitive, so I moved on to other things with the intention of coming back. Somehow a year has gone by since then, so I decided to pick up Definitely Dead for the SuBC task to read the next book in a series you stalled out on. I liked the same things about this book as I did in the first five books, but it still didn't seem like anything new to me. I don't find myself really anxious to find out what is going to happen next. I'm glad I revisited the series and will probably keep them on the back burner, but I don't feel like I need to jump back into the series.
