Re: TTC Tuesday

  • @mana8503 - I'm guessing this means your little girl is still in your belly and not in your arms??

    Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 4 months - 19 weeks

How do you feel? Sooo tired. Oh, and I'm getting a cold, yuck.

Any Milestones this week? 4 month pediatrician appt. was yesterday. He is 17# 3 oz and 26.5 inches long. We found a a new practice and like them so much better than the last one. Shots suck, but the helped him sleep a little better last night.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? The four month sleep regression is no joke! He has been up every two hours every night for a week. I'm excited about all the new skills he is mastering, but wow.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: we havent decided if we are holding off TTC until Dec/Jan so I can get settled into my first school year with a new group of kids, I will accumulate more sick days, not have another summer baby, etc. Working in a school its great to have summers off, but being a guidance counselor we do the majority of our work at the end and beginning of the school years and over the summer as far as scheduling goes...or just say F it and keep trying.

    Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 14 months+

How do you feel? blah, i've been over snacking and i need to stop it

Any Milestones this week? little princess finally took her first steps in the last week and I was finally able to record it last night=)

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? i need to update my siggy, but who has time, i dont even have time to shower or sit down and eat dinner....

How are you feeling? Ok.  I've had a headache for the last 4 days and it was so bad on Saturday night that we had to leave the Kings Of Leon concert early.  I was really looking forward to that concert so I was really, really upset.  The tiredness hasn't gone away, but I'm not cramping as much anymore.  Nausea also seems to have lessened.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? I got a call from my doctor on Friday that my progesterone level dropped so now I'm on suppositories which kinda sucks.  I'm scared that it was low all along and I should have been taking progesterone since two weeks ago.  I have an appt with my new OB tomorrow and I'm hoping she'll want to do another u/s just so I can make sure baby is still ok.
Rant - it was my dads bday yesterday and we went out to dinner with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandma.  Out of no where, my dad gets my attention and starts hinting to me that I should tell everyone that I'm pregnant.  I got really upset because I specifically told him and my mom that we would not be sharing until we were out of the 1st trimester.  I get that he's excited, but it's not right for him to pressure me.  I don't think he understands how scared I am of loosing this baby and how heart breaking it would be to tell everyone there's no more baby if it should happen.  At this point, I really wish we didn't tell them.

  • @mrsmarshall1027: Sorry about your headache!  D gets bad migraines too and he has found that drinking black tea with lemon helps to lessen the pain.

If your tummy is still upset and you can't bear the the thought of tea, try my method: peppermint oil on the temples and a nap.

I'll definitely try those two out.  I've been limiting my caffeine intake lately and I think that might be what's causing it.  I drank a few sips of coffee this morning and it made my headache go away for now, so we'll see.

How are you feeling? Baby keeps stomping on my bladder and my feet are swollen but otherwise I'm feeling alright.

Rants/Thoughts? The doctor officially changed my due date to December 31, 2014 (in line with my last menstrual cycle date) after a second growth scan today. The growth scan showed around Jan 3, 2015. It was set for Jan 12, 2015 from the first scan from my first appt.

@mana8503 Congratulations!  She is beautiful!  I can't wait to here to long version of the story.

    Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 5 weeks

How do you feel?  Tired.  Happy, my doctor did not clear me to return to work, 4 more weeks home with my peanut!

Any Milestones this week?  Sleep regression.  She went from sleeping well at night to fighting sleep with all her might.  Then I started the awful habit of her sleeping with us.  She sleeps and for long periods of time.  I barely sleep for fear of rolling onto her.  Tonight we're trying to get her back into the cradle and stay in the cradle, but she is refusing to go to bed.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics?  Am I crazy for driving about 40 minutes to a Gap, Carters and Lord & Taylor who definitely have the items/sizes that I need to exchange some clothes for O?  I am really about to tomorrow...
  • Congrats @mana8503! She is adorable and looks just like her momma <3

    image
  • @sjs1013‌ I also brought T into bed when I swore I wouldn't! I position myself in a way I know I can't roll on him. He sleeps through the night with me that way...I'm ok with it for now since I need sleep to function at work!
  • @ramstein1027 I am picturing your husband standing over you as you open a package of used pee sticks.  I'm laughing pretty hard right now.

@Danaocny I make sure I am in a position that I can't roll onto her either, but we have a small bed so space is limited.  You are right, sleep is better, regardless of where it is.  Last night she slept in the cradle for almost the whole night, except while being fed.  I think we brought her into bed around 6 am.  I think I'm the problem, I give in and bring her in bed quickly.  After the move when we get a bigger bed, I might buy one of those bed co-sleepers.
