Cost of a FT nanny

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows the cost of a full-time nanny here in Pittsburgh (8-6). I have 3 in day care...so far so good but I have to wonder if I could get a nanny for that much $$$$. Thanks!!

I think we paid 800/week for our nanny (hubby stays home with them now so we've been nanny-free for awhile) but that was for 2 kids and also in NJ.

When I babysat I made $65/day for 3 kids.  (I was a grad-school I was REALLY low.  But I also did not cook, clean, etc. other than what we messed up.  (I did our lunch dishes, etc., but no laundry, bathrooms, etc.)

While we do not have a nanny (we do not want one for security reasons and because my husband works from home), but I have dozens of friends with them. Everyone I know does an official, paying taxes manner and based on what they've told me, I think you need to factor in hours, taxes, social security, will you pay their vacation weeks (also during your vacation time) and holidays, will you have them drive/clean up/meal prep, etc but I think $7-800/week is on par....

last time i looked on care.com the rate was at least $12-15/hr, with that being on the low end.

I haven't used a nanny regularly, but I had to get one of our old daycare teachers to watch the boys a few weeks this summer, and I paid $12/hour, and with coverage for the hours we work, it was about $550 for the week.
